Photography and Oils

This is a mixed medium project i took photographs of the 3 many subjects then pasted them down to an 18x24 canvas board and then painted around them in oils.

These two are portraits of my friends the first is done in oils with a split-complementary color scheme of violet,yellow-green,and yellow-orange. The second is my friend Jessica's reflection in a mirror done in watercolors.

Medium Madness :)

The first is a mixed media project where we had to use a word that described ourselves and portray that appropriately . The second is a still life done in colored pencil. Finally the third was a palette knife painting done in oils from my alien concentration.

The beach scene is done in watercolors. The portrait is once again me trying to get into a looser style of painting like the paintings shown below ( and its a little less creepy lol). Finally the still life is done with charcoal on cardboard.

The alien is from last semesters concentration. It is done in oils. The girl in black and white is done in pen and ink. The baby portrait is actually a portrait of myself and is done in oils. And most recently I have started painting in watercolors which is the medium used on the rest of the pieces.
